Health and fitness are usually accomplished through moderate-to-vigorous exercise, proper nutrition and adequate rest.
A combination of physical activity, mental activity, social interaction and good sleep can help in keeping one physically fit. This will make you less likely to succumb to illnesses, injuries and diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and obesity. People who are fit also tend to be happier, healthier and live longer lives.
Healthy eating habits such as eating a balanced diet and consuming enough protein and carbohydrates is essential for maintaining healthy muscles. In general, people who eat well and exercise regularly are more physically fit than those who don’t. This is because being fit leads to a strong immune system.
